Arrived late evening, quiet. Walked out into old Shanghai vibe, feels like stepping back in time. Hotel has that same cozy feel. Close to Bund, river, museums, shops, restaurants—easy walk. Breakfast was good and varied. Staff helpful and friendly at breakfast and door. Location near Nanjing East shopping and metro about 10 mins walk. Laundry service in basement works well. Room was clean, decent size, good for central Shanghai area. Staff especially Harry, Lilian, Chloe very helpful with good customer service. Within walking distance to train station too. Building has cultural charm but room layout a bit awkward because of design—still okay though. View from room was nice, art deco details pretty.
